Multiple Property Home & Contents

I am fortunate enough to own a holiday home and a rental property in addition to my main family home; all in the UK.
I recently totted up what I was paying for buildings insurance on all three plus home and contents on the first and second homes and it comes to well over £1,000! It struck me that I could probably cut that considerably by taking my business to one provider.
But who? I have found that most insurers don't cover holiday homes and rental properties. Plus we have a couple of antiques in our main home that make that hard to insure as well. Of course the comparison sites are useless for this kind of thing.
Wondered if a broker would be the way to go or whether anyone had any other experiences or thoughts that would help.
Thanks!

Mainstream providers may insure the holiday home providing you have your main residence insured with them - depending on unoccupancy and if you can comply with certain conditions.

The let property you can do separately but if the insurer that is covering your own home offers this cover definitely ask for a discount to have all 3 together.

If you have high value items to insure you might be best looking at a broker or specialist insurer.

    Scarlett gives good advice.

£1000 does not sound that bad for three properties especially as when is empty for long periods
