Certificate of tax deduction HSBC

Is there anyway you can get a certificate of tax deduction online with HSBC?

Or do you have to telephone and ask for one?

I am with First Direct, which I think is owned by HSBC, and used the online message facility to ask for certificates. The ones for previous years soon arrived, and they now come every year.

I asked the online message service and the question wasn't understood Hopeless.

Will have to telelphone/go into a branch.

Most annoying as you can print them off with Natwest!

I recently requested one by sending them a secure message (assuming you are registered for online banking). They acknowledged the message after a couple of days and I received the certificate after about a week.
