It's good Board etiquette to request a merge if you find a duplicate, rather than hope someone else, or the OP, will come along to do it.
As you've spotted a couple of duplicates recently, perhaps you could have a quick read of the Guide which shows you what to do when you find one

People who post lots of comps do occasionally make mistakes and post duplicates (I used to when I was a more active member of the Boards). Yes, we do make mistakes, but there are nicer - gentler - ways of letting someone know that they've posted a duplicate.
Can you please also have a read of this part of the Guide?
