hi all
really do hope someone has good advice for me on this problem.
my car is on its last legs and due a MOT in Nov which I am convinced it will not pass and its going to cost me loads to get it through and it just wont be worth it. last month was told by my employer that the company was moving in Aug to another site which adds on a extra 30 miles to my work place per day and on top of that its all motorway miles. so was going to look for a new car but I have not won the lottery and do not have a brilliant credit history so finance is out of the window until I was told about personal leasing a car. had a good look around and always came back to 1 site lings leasing (my eye ball nearly flew out when I 1st saw her site bonkers or what). Any how I scanned through it and it all looks to good to be true so looked up some different comments other ppl have made about car leasing and some are for it some are not, own choice I suppose but looks the right choice for me. Where I stumbled was if there is a credit check would I fail and have the disappointment again or try it and get a credit mark against me (again) which I don't wont to do as I am trying to straighten my finances out and been doing well. so what I am asking is has anyone took a contact on a lease car and how hard was the credit check do I need to be squeaky clean or is it worth a go?.
Hope someone can answer my question just so I can clear my mind weather to do it or not.
Thanks in advance

Is Ling still offering a free lunch? Got one of those off her a few years back, but didn't need a car at the time
No idea what the checks etc are like but, by all accounts, she's completely legit (started off plugging very hard to the forces) if a little completely and utterly insane.
She also turned the Dragons down when they offered to back her0 -
I have gone the lease hire route as I get a new car every 3 year's without having to secure a loan, buy a car and sell a car. The payments are looked as a utility. I'm not sure how strict the credit checks are. I had a clean file.0

If you go with a regular car leasing company such as lings, you need a CLEAN credit history, especially since the recession, finance companies have become much stricter.
You need to have some finance for them to see you are a good payer, you need to be on the voters roll, no CCJs, defaults, missed payments etc.
If you have any of the above I wouldnt bother trying with any mainstream lenders. You could try sub prime companies.0
