VAT Free shopping!

:hello:I'm not sure, but I think that many products sold for babies and small children in the UK are VAT Free. I have noticed that I can buy baby nappy sacks a lot more cheaply than doggie waste bags, baby shampoo and bath foam more cheaply than 'normal' bathing products.
I am wondering if anyone else thinks this is so, and if so, any other ideas for substituting baby VAT Free items for ordinary products?
Please be kind if I'm wrong, it's my first post!
