Warwick/Stratford

Hiya
Looking for somewhere to stay for a couple of nights next weekend, maybe Sunday/Monday. Can anyone recommend somewhere, not too expensive?
Thanks x

We stayed in the Leamington Spa Travelodge when visiting Warwick Castle and it is the Regent Hotel with a sweeping staircase and stained glass and plus had bigger than usual TL family rooms. The lifts were lined with books. Across the road there was a nice Wetherspoons for breakfast and restaurants beside it for evening meals. Leamington Spa itself was nice with a lovely park a few minutes walk away, nice shopping centre and an old pump house. There was free parking on the road from 6pm or if you go a few streets back from there were no parking restrictions during the day. Sunday 22nd is £23.50 and the Monday £42.50. They also seem to have a Tl in stratford Upon Avon £39.50 for the Sunday and Monday.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn at Warwick. I have a link for 2 for 1 or 35% off HI or Express:

We got a night at the Express recently for £35 including breakfast, for 4 people.

We stayed at the Falcon in Stratford a few years ago. Reasonable price, bit of character, not far from the 'action' in Stratford. Can't remember what it cost exactly but wouldn't be far off Premier Inn prices as I'm a cheapskate :D

Holiday inn express just off the M40 is on the main road to Warwick. Nice hotel. We didnt eat at the pub next door - it wasn't getting good reviews on trip advisor when we went. We were directed to Jimmys Spice in Stratford to eat - all you can eat. Nice enough place.

The Premier Inn in Stratford is fine but note you will have to pay for parking on top of the advertised rate.
