Trading in car on spare tyre?
Options
Last week exactly (Friday) I put down a deposit on a two year old car from the local SEAT dealership. This was based on a price the salesman gave me for my five year old VW and a reduced price for the SEAT I was interested in - the deal was sealed and it was agree'd that the car would be ready for me in 7-10 days (Includes handling of my cherished plate).
When I was given a trade in price for my VW he did not look at the car or ask me any detail around the mileage, so I assumed it would be sent for auction rather than sold on at the dealership.
So, the 7 days have passed and I've been told today it'll likely be closer to the 10 days as DVLA have not returned the documents for the car as yet. When leaving the hospital today the car got a puncture and I popped the spare on - it looks like a new tyre is needed (Approx £80 for a budget) however I'm thinking that as they didn't inspect the car or provide a value based on it's current condition - should I attempt to trade it in as it is?
Any thoughts?

Is the tyre on the spare reasonable?
If so, you could get it put on the alloy for probably around £10Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
