Changing my dog's food

Not wanting to get into an argument but I'm confused I thought one of the arguments of the RAW diet was the better quality of the food.
Value broiler chicken pieces will be of the lowest quality with reduced nutrients and extra water injected in. So the argument for the better quality of food for the RAW diet really doesn't work.
Which specific nutrients do you think are reduced? Even Value meat is packed with bioavailable protein, saturated fat and minerals. This is balanced out with essential fatty acids in the fish, vitamins and other phytonutrients in the veggies etc. Water is hardly harmful, in any case it's most often the breasts that contain added water, own brand frozen portions are often sold as no added water. Even feeding a little extra to make up for any added water still makes frozen Value/ Smartprice cheaper than most commercial foods.
The domestic dog evolved to eat raw meat and raw plants, it didn't evolve to eat meat-flavoured corn flakes which many dry foods are. Most wet foods are primarily animal derivatives, the cheaper ones also containing vegetable derivatives and/ or cereals, most contain added water in the form of jelly or gravy. These ingredients are used because they are cheap as chips, manufacturers talk about quality and wholegrains as a marketing tool. Worryingly there are strong links between carbohydrate rich diets and obesity, diabetes, dental decay and a host of other diseases. :eek:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
