Company gone into liquidation

Hi
I have a dinersclub card and borught flight tickets in January for a flight in march. THe airline stopped flying in february due to financial difficulties and went into liquidation on 26th June without restarting flighing or processing refunds.
Diners card are saying this is not their problem and will only refund me what they can recieve from the airline!!
Is this correct

I think Diners Club is slightly different to a credit card, could be wrong, I am sure someone will come along with the answer soon.

Its a charge card which is different yea, this might be the case0

From the Financial Ombudsman site:
"For section 75 to apply, certain conditions must be met. Most credit card purchases will be covered, but:
the cash price of the goods or services must be more than £100 and not more than £30,000; and
purchases are not covered if they are made by debit cards or by charge cards (where the monthly bill has to be settled in full)."
