How To Keep Wireless Turned On

MSI U135DX netbook with Atheros AR9285 wireless adaptor, Win XP
Currently running from the mains with battery out. Every time the mains is switched off the wireless needs switching on on start. Same happens if the battery is removed after battery running. Is there any way to make it switch on on boot, cannot find anything in BIOS as my Samsung has.

The screen defaults to fully bright as well so it must be something to live with.0 -
