Hi
I wonder whether you can help? I have a bollard, like this:
http://www.bollardsdirect.co.uk/bollards/concrete-bollards
that’s been knocked down. I have contacted the company above and they have given me the name of an independent contractor, as they live some distance away from me they have quoted £300 to complete the work – excluding the bollard (am just outside of London, Ascot). Do you think that this is a fair price? How long would replacing the bollard take/ what tools are necessary? Any reccs?
Thanking you in advance.
Danielle

The work content would be one man for one day @ £150. But in practical terms it may require two men for 1/2 a day. Plus some sand and cement
There may be other making good and carting away of materials though
Any small builder can do this type of work
Essentially though, £300 is too much0 -
Many thanks for your reply, it's as i suspected.0
