Had a letter from the Inland Revenue yesterday confirming i am due a refund of £1350 pounds, just in time for my daughters wedding the week after next!0

I received one of those letters too and held my solicitors and the Estate Agents responsible. I fired off a letter to my solicitor with a print out of the HMRC web page and on Friday I received a nice cheque from HMRC. Had it not been for the mail shot I wouldn't have known about this. I am still glad I did the work myself rather than paying them 30% commission.Solar PV cost £5760 (15/03/13)

This morning I received a cheque for £1576. A massive result, in fairness I would not have known about this if I had not received the letter, however I saved £480 by using a phone call and sending a letter!0
