Credit Card PPI

Hi, I have been in contact with my credit card company re the mis-selling of PPI for my credit card, they have made me an offer but stated they can't see any statements prior to 2006. I have had the credit card since 2001, can I follow this any further or except the offer. I wasn't expecting much so the offer isn't unreasonable but is probably 5 years worth of payments short. Unfortunately I don't know how to get copies of these statements as I discarded the originals along time ago. Thank you

If you have no statements then you should take the offer, as they are only paying you back to 06 then they have no info either so a request for info they hold on you would not be any help at all.
