Western Union Credit card transfer and Barclaycard.

Hello,

Just a quick one. I have just tried to transfer money to my current account via Western Union from my Credit card in order to pay off some bills I'm not eligible to do this through a balance transfer as I 'don't qualify for any offers at this time'....annoying...

The transaction was declined and I was prompted to try to send the money again. I rang Barclaycard and they said it was declined due to Fraud protection. Fair enough, the bloke said he has now authorised the payment and it should go through. Now will it or should I send the money again?

I know I can ring them but I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this before?

As its fraudsters tool of choice not surprised anything involving Western Union is blocked. If you've made the payment I'm presuming you're aware if it will almost certainly be treated as a cash advance and be very expensive.

Yes I know, don't really have a choice at the moment. I'm not going to let it linger in the slightest. I'm throwing all of my extra cash at it!

Check your available balance and see if the payment is pending... If not, resend.
