HSBC telephone number, pls?

Hi, wonder if anybody can help. Cannot get through on the numbers quoted on correspondence from HSBC. One puts you in a queue and then cuts off, the other one says subscriber unavailable. Would be very grateful if anybody can help. Thanks

Nobody it seems (not even counter staff at branches OF HSBC) can telephone the Regulated Sales Complaint team!
I was told four months ago that their "technical difficulties" had been "escalated" and yet here you are with the same problem.

Dare I say, I think it's a deliberate policy?

If you're not just ringing for an update on the status of a PPI Questionnaire, I'd 'phone the 0800 complaints number on their website.

(I'd type it here, but last time I did it was mysteriously deleted)

I imagine they'll be even less helpful if they now start getting multiple unsolicited phone calls with general queries about PPI.
Might be more polite to remove these, unless the people concerned have given their express permission for you to post them on a public forum.
