A nurse of some sort. He and his wife (nurse) are both ATOS assessors as well as both owning and running three care homes.

The guy's english was atrocious and to top it all he was hiding from me behind a VDU.

Yes I eventually appealed but only after trying to claim JSA as spelt out in their refusal letter which was confirmed by the BDC as being the correct procedure.

It never got as far as a Tribunal, after I sent in some evidence, they revised the decision and placed me in the Support Group for 3 years. Mind you it took from early Jan when my ESA money stopped until late March before I saw another penny!

When I saw those comments I was not too pleased. I wrote to the DWP and ATOS demanding an explanation as to what right did they have to libel my good character. I behaved in the correct manner with the assessor, I couldn't help it if the guy couldn't speak or understand Queen's English and he did tell me to reply yes/no to the questions he should have been more explicit in his comments.

I never did get an explanation just another ESA85 with those remarks smothered out in black ink with confirmation that the original ESA85 had been destroyed!
