Comedy Clubs/Store London

Myself and some friends are staying in London on Saturday night and thinking of going to the comedy club/store. Can anyone recommend which one as there seems to be a few and anywhere we can get discounted tickets or coupons.

Thanks in advance.

  • Oh I'm a bit too late for this one. Where I'd recommend would depend on where you are staying anyway. I recently had a brilliant night out at the Soho Comedy Club's other venue at St Katherine's Dock just by behind the Guoman Hotel at Tower Bridge. They had a top class line-up of comedians; all very different but all very good. It was easy to get back to our hotel which was just on the other side of the bridge a wee bit, and I think it was a little cheaper than their Leicester Square venue. Tickets cost less if booked on the website beforehand.

We got a brilliant night out for just a tenner, and I love that the Comedy Club is in a great pub restaurant - The historic Dickens Inn; really good vibe and not mobbed like some of the more central comedy clubs around Leicester Square. It can be a bit of a local celeb haunt in the late evening, but don't let that put you off. If you're interested for next time, just google: Soho Comedy Club Dickens Inn

The comedy store never really sell discounted tickets, only for NHS workers I believe or tudents if I remember. You will always have a cracking night there and normally see someone famous from off the TV. Would suggest doing the 11pm late show, just perfect way to end the night and gives you time to go out and have something to eat or just mooch around the west end

I second that, the 11oclock show is by far the best there. You'll def catch someone you've seen on Mock the Week of Live at the Apollo. Standard.

Thanks, we're still debating. Going to Portobello Road Market on the Saturday and Camden on Sunday, so it's going to be full on!

I went to a comedy show in Leceister Square a few weeks back, got the tickets off lastminute.com £5 each! There are tons of comedy places on there.
