help with airport hotel Heathrow premier Inn

I've been searching for ages - please help me choose. We have 8am flight from terminal 1 Heathrow on 30 August, back 15 Sept pm so as we have 3 hour journey, decided best to stay the night. (2 adults)

Found Premier Inn Bath rd at £39 non cancel, if we take this, should we drop car off evening before at car park? Not sure which is nearest carpark - and how could we then get to Premier Inn with our bags night before (29 Aug) I think we can use the Hoppa next morning to get to terminal 1?

Want a good secure carpark. A lot seem to make you leave your keys, and i've heard horror stories.

Or would it be best to go for a mystery 4 star, tho don't fancy getting the Park Inn. Would like one where you leave car at hotel.

We are needing 18 days car parking including night of stay in hotel.

Finally we are travelling United Airlines to St Louis via Dulles and I've heard they quite often cancel flights so have to change, which could be expensive for non cancel hotel.

Any advice please? Thanks very much

    Hello!

We've stayed in this hotel a few times. It's right next to QPark (I think that's what its called) who we found to be the cheapest parking around heathrow when we went last. We've used them 3 times and never had any problems.

Its literally out the door of the hotel and turn left and you're there.

You drop your car with them and they will take you to your terminal.

I assume it doesn't matter what time of day it is, but I'd check with them before you book as your flight is early.

I definitely think this is your best option for ease if you are staying at the premier inn.

We've stayed at the Premier Inn in Bath Rd quite a few times, no problems and we'd stay there again - for £39 I'd snap it up.

As Bexm says, Qpark is right next door, we've never used them as we don't drive to Heathrow but my colleague, who first recommended the Premier Inn to us, always uses them and has never had any problems.

  • Thanks for that info, very useful. I now realise there are 2 Premier Inns in Bath Road, I'm looking at 15 Bath Road, not the Terminal 5 one(420 Bath Road)

Is that the same hotel you've used? I think its quite new.

We wanted to park car evening before, so we don't have to bother in morning. Assume we could drop bags at hotel in evening, then drive to carpark, book it in and leave it, then could we walk back to Premier Inn if its just next door?

Also is there anywhere near you recommend to have an evening meal?

    Thanks again :)

    Hi

I think it's that one. Pretty sure we didn't stay at terminal 5. Personally I'd ring the hotel and ask them if they are the other next to the carpark!
I think you'd be able to park the car the night before and then get a lift to the airport from them the following morning? !
as for food, the bar in the hotel sold really nice food ! We didn't venture out of it.

We've eaten in the restaurant inside and always enjoyed it.
