Google do ads for driving traffic to sites, have you looked at that? Can't help with your question, never heard of them, sorry!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

I don't know them but I'd be careful with many traffic generation companies. There's lots of tricks and scams in this arena. Many look like they've sent traffic but don't. Others will send traffic that has no interest in your website. This could just land you with a large bandwithe bill from website host. The best traffic is always targetted to your website. Adwords works well but needs time to figure out.0 -
Try google adwords as you can set your limit and give it a try. Try search engine optimization (seo) your website.Kind Regards

Have a read through some of the bits on HERE. As said above, you need to optimize your site for search engines. Some simple things can be done yourself, so try not to go paying lots of money out to have it done for you0

I would be wary of anybody who is offering things that seem to good to be true. There are dubious practices that could end up with Google dropping your site altogether if they feel that the site is trying to trick its way up the listings.
I would submit a Google sitemap which is free and makes it more likely that Google will thoroughly spider your site. You might also be interested in Google Analytics which gives stats for your site and is also free. Google for these for more info.0 -
Hi - quoted from a thread at DigitalPoint_from_digital_point_forum wrote:I'm owner of uktargetedtraffic.co.uk.
No scam and I answer all enquiries sent through contact form on site.
Yes, there are scammers out there; but we are not one of them.
I offer traffic from re-directed expired domains, etc and some from pop-ups etc.
These are all genuine visitors and not bots.
PM me if you need any info. I'll even set-up demo campaign of 1,000 hits for free just to show good faith - if you're site is suitable.
Yours

I am with the majority of those in that thread, that being traffic bought to your site from expired domains is next to useless. I do not believe that traffic in very high numbers can be sustained from expired domains. I think with all these types of services there is an element of scam. Finally the visitors probably will not be targetted, and most likely you will get traffic generated in the US as the greatest proportion.

The site has no Google PR even though the domain has been around since 2005, also the whois record

...the registrant say's sole trader and on the "contact us" page of the website they mention support staff this giving the impression that this is a bonefide business with staff. This is a website is operated from a bedroom in my opinion and I would say stay well clear.0 -

I do and SEO is the long term goal for any website and if done right this can deliver you with lots of targetted free traffic. Hard work though to get it right and stay high up in the SERPs0 -
There is a lot you can do for free and I really think you should go down that route first. It may be slow for things to work at first (but search engines are responding quicker and quicker to changes) but what I have found is the snowball effect, once you start making progress it gets big quickly if you do it the right way.
Look up the SEO stuff as much of what you can do is free and common sense. Avoid anything that looks like a scam or is deliberately trying to pull the wool over the search engine’s eyes. Simple things like always having a link back to your home page from all other pages, good relevant content, building up links from other relevant sites. Remember a real person will be reading your site as well so if you optimize it and it end up no 1 in the search engines for your key words but the site looks and reads like c**p then people will leave.
I haven’t paid a penny for any advertising, all SEO stuff. My traffic is good but more importantly relevant traffic the people most likely to buy. It’s better to have 100 hits a day and two sales from this than 100,000 hits and 1 sale. It’s not all about the traffic it’s the conversion ratios.
I have posted on this forum before about SEO tips see here and there are other threads so check those out and google SEO. Do all that maybe wait a couple of months and then see what else you can do and then go the paid route if you want or go the paid route now but as long as you do the simple free stuff first.0
