Tax Credits Complaints

i rang tax credits to alter my childcare amount i told them £106 a week, for some reason they sent me a new award notice with £98 on it, i rang them up and told them but they refused to change it, even though its their fault because it is under £10...
i sent in a complaint, received a letter in december saying they are looking into it and i will receive a full answer on january 22nd 2007
----i am still waiting, i did ring them in february and was told i will look into it , yer her i am still waiting !!!!
is their anything i can do ? anywhere else i can complain ?? as this is awful that they are treating us all this way !!
any help much appreciated.....

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Tax Credits would only pay up to a maximum of 70/75% of childcare costs, whereby the parent/s then pay the remainder out of their own pockets. If that is the case then you are getting more than you should be.

I took it to mean that they have wrongly stated the amount he pays, not the amount he gets.

It's actually 80% depending on your income.

scatz they pay up to 80% and has ui have 2 children at nursery they pay up to 80% of £300 a week, and my fees are not £300 a week..
    it depends on individual circumstances..
they pay 65% of my fees and i pay the other 35%, but depending on how much fees are depends what they pay...
anyway they were going to resolve my case by january i am still waiting ?? any advice do i phone them up and shout at the complaints department for an answer ??
