Just wondering if anyone else is having any problems with hotmail. It is realy slow and keeps freezing or saying its loading and doesn`t. It took 2 minutes last night for an email to be sent.
Its been playing up for the last couple of weeks but now sees to be getting worse.
When it freezes I have to click onto my other homail email and then click back into my main accont in order to free it up...then it might let me read one or two emails and it freeze again! I`m gettig a bit  with it.
Please has anyone else come across this, any suggestions for speeding it up and sorting it out would be gratefully received.
Many thanks

Last time I had problems with my Hotmail account I switched to Gmail.
I've still use my old Hotmail address, just import all the messages from it.
Took a while to get used to the Gmail layout but it was worth it.0 -
My first attempt to get into my Hotmail account this morning failed (server unavailable) but I tried again about an hour later and it was OK, other than that, I've had no problems with the site.0

Thank you for taking the time to reply, and for the link.
I`ve just gone into my hotmail account and it became stuck..saying loading in yellow box bottom LH corner, I again had to log into my other hotmail account and click back before it would work.. I`ve rebooted the computer, turned off and on the Virgin Superhub..and now want give in! I have used hotmail forever and never had problems before! its really odd but quite frustrating.
Don`t know much about gmail, but will have a look this afternoon.
Thanks0 -
Do you have a particularly large number of emails, or an exceptionally large single email/attachment in your hotmail inbox/sent/trash?How do I add a signature?0

I don`t have any emails outstanding to read, but do have a fair bit of saved stuff under different headings.
Sorry wouldn`t know how to find a ver large single email or attachment.
I`ve always saved emails that I might need for future reference.0 -
What browser are you using, anything else open and running while you're trying to access hotmail?
I used to divert a hotmail to my Yahoo but it led to my Yahoo being hacked- details too long to go into but I am 100% certain my Yahoo was hacked solely because of the divert so use with caution.0 -
I can't offer any solutions but hotmail acts similarly for me too. When I check my email I usually go through 5 or 6 days worth and every 20 or so emails one just fails to load up. To see it, I have to navigate back to the inbox and then back to the offending email. It's been like that for me for years and I have got used to it.0

Thanks for replying, maybe its a `pain` I`m stuck with...but bit annoying as it never used to happen. Might have word open and somtimes google chrome but thats about it.
I think it runs on Internet Explorer.0 -
Have you thought about using Windows Live Mail (part of Windows Live Essentials - WLE) to download yr emails onto yr PC and view them from there? WLE is available for XP upwards, http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3945 - I would do a customised install, untick all the other stuff that comes with WLE.0
