Cancelling PPI with Kays?

Options
Hello, I recently looked at my grandmothers Kays catalogue statement. I noticed she is paying £37.51 a month in PPI. Now I don't think she will be able to claim anything back because her account is pretty old, even though it was mis-sold because she has been signed off work nearly her whole life. (She couldn't have claimed anyway)

We just wanted to know if there would be a problem just cancelling the payment every month? Will they give us the run around or is it easy to stop the payment?

There is no requirement for her to have this insurance, so there should be absolutely no problem cancelling it.
Her account may be "pretty old", but she can still complain that she was mis-sold and, although she may only get back a proportion of what she has paid over the years, she may be lucky and get the lot. With an open account like this one there should records of her account going back at least six years.

  • Thanks for the help. I will see what I can do for her.
