I didnt know about this thread and used the letters on the BBC website 
Ive sent what they call the 14 day letter asking for the amount I was claiming or I will take court action after 14 days. Not heard anything on the 10th day so rang them and they said theyve not had anything even though I sent it recorded delivery and to fax it over again Cheek! Ive not sent it as im not waiting another 14 days which I told them. Well today is the 14th day and Ive heard nothing. Do i go on the money claim website tomorrow and take court action? Im so scared about doing this (Im only claiming £313!!!!)

see your bank thread.... send another letter saying you have 7 days before action which would incur more costs... also try not to post questions in the "success" thread or some people get mardy...

What does the BBC website suggest?
On MSE Martin suggests two letters are sent giving 14 days on each. Please read Martin's article and have a look at the template letters there.0 -
here is the BBC info which i also followed, but i still got the bog standard "8 week" responce from Halifax, i will be sending Martins 7 day letter tomorrow though...0
