Not being funny but I would stick to the expensive reputable companies.

Having seen some of the death traps that are hired out locally, I wouldnt risk it :(

But thats my personal opinion only :)
  • Personally i would not hire a car - Where i stayed in altimkum ( sorry if spelt wrong ) they drove like mad men - no marking on the roads - Bikers where very "all over the place"

When you get to the dual carriage ways thats fine - but not the towns all villages.

I normaly do hire cars abroad but i gave this wide berth - plus the yellow taxi,s
Tell it as it should be....

    My feelings exactly :(

The road from dalaman to Kalkan is so scarey I cant make up my mind whether its best to travel during the day so I can SEE when the back wheels leave the road or travel at night and just be oblivious to my impending death:confused:

Driving in Turkey is not for the faint hearted thats for sure. Luckily the bus sevice is fantastic and you can travel the length and bredth of Turkey in comfort for a pittance very easily
