Advise re new car

MINMOUSE

Our present car needs a lot of work done and is costing a fortune to run so we have decided to downside and have been looking at the following cars
Vauxhall Corsa and the Agila
Hyundia I10
Peugeot 107

There seems to be some good deals on new or newish models but just wondered if anyone already had one of the above or could give advise.

some more info would be required for us to assertain your budget, mileage a year, nerly new car or brand new showroom car.

appart from the above, is there anything else that has cought your eye

Hi thanks for the replies, budget is about £7000 - £8000. We are looking for low road tax, good petrol usage and a small car as most of my time is spent picking teenagers up and dropping off. We only do about 7000miles a year and for long journeys tend to go by train,

If you're happy to go for nearly-new at that range, I'd be looking at something like a Fiesta, Polo or Fabia.

i would be looking at a hyundai I series, kia cee'd and staying away from diesels. focus or fiesta and a skoda fabia or roomster, mazda, toyota.

I've got an I10 and love it!

• Compact but feels roomy inside (shaped doors, head room etc)
• Can easily carry 5 people without anyone being totally squashed!
• Spec is fantastic for the price (air con, elec windows all round & the usual stuff)
• Road tax = £30 (but think this may be even cheaper on newer models)
• Servicing costs are good
• Nippy, comfy & easy to drive (and manages fine on motorways!)
• Good on fuel (average 44 - 48 mpg depending on where I'm driving)
• Can often get a parking space that bigger cars can't get into;)

I had a Suzuki before & although I really loved that, the running costs were a lot more than the Hyundai is. HTH
