Natwest Credit Cards

Hi All.

Right I have my current account with natwest, and a loan which i have just paid off £2000 from it which is brilliant.

I also have a credit card with Tesco which I am now paying intrest on and I would like to balance transfer my balance from Tesco, and I think it would be good to keep it all with natwest.

Only thing is im rubbish at reading small print and wondered if this is a good card to transfer my balance onto, and also which one of the natwest cards they offer would be best for me.

Any ideas?

There are far better cards out there than Nat West, read some of the threads on here then decide after you've researched a bit.

Someone with far more knowledge than me will be along to point you in the right direction shortly.

You can't balance transfer from Tesco to Natwest as they are both RBS cards

Reading the small print is your most reliable weapon. You can't just rely the replies on this forum as T&C on some cards changes without giving any advance notice.

Stilojon - I'm trying to get my NatWest loan paid off. How did they handle overpayments and interest charges in your case?

Basically I told them what I wanted to do, I wanted to make a payment of £2000 from my loan.

Ask then for a total settlement figure and then minus the money you want to pay and then get a new loan for that amount, its long and complicated.

And Yes Natwest have !!!!!! it up and I really dont understand it and im a little worried if it has worked out right, but I guess I will never know.

    ANYWAY BACK TO TOPIC!

WHAT CREDIT CARD CAN I BALANCE TRANSFER TO THAT IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH TESCO????

Quite honestly reading your posts, i would suggest you do nothing until you start reading the small print.

Just feeling you want them all with natwest makes no sense at all, it might cost you lots more money to do that.

Similarly with your loan ... repaying 2,000 may be 'good' but you wont seems to know whether you are better off or worse off as a result.

So start looking at some detail

    a. is you credit record good?
    b. what is the APR of your current Tesco card
    c. what is the APR of the natwest card
    d. how much on the cards

then you can start looking at cheaper ways of funding these debts.
