Hi there!
I work in a hospital but ever since i like my tech & gadgets like many hot-blooded males out there.
I'd like to look for a job (as a part-time or a full-time part-timer) as someone who tests and reviews games, tech & gadgets.
How and where do i start? any advice please?
Thanks.

Do you know how many thousands of people would like the same job? It's equivalent to the child that gets to test new toys!0

Yeah, when you find one and they want a destruction tester let me know... considering the amount of gadgets I can kill just by being in the same room with them I'd be perfect!

Seriously, the answer is to know the right people who can get you in there and hope. If you haven't got one in your network of friends or family then not much you can do. A friend was looking into this and had some success finding possible odd job testing stuff but never got far with it.
I'd also expect some aptitude in Journalism and high level writing skills are required for the role.0 -
When the 'Gadget Show' were looking for a backroom researcher, a few years back. Over 10'000 people applied for the Job.0

There are lots of people around writing blogs about tech and gadgets.
If you have decent writing skills and could build a blog (use Blogger.com for a free one), develop a strong following and then contact companies for product information or items loaned for review. It could only be a hobby - certainly at first - but it might build into something significant over time.Lightblub Moment - Christmas 2006. If you've got the passion about gadgets, as you seem to do and are willing to learn some easy new skills, then there is no reason why you can't run an online business doing what you love. You don't need to wait for someone to give you the job.
The internet offers a massive opportunity for people to earn a full or part time income by working for themselves from home. Building a website or blog, adding valuable content i.e. your reviews, monetizing your website, generating traffic etc.., these are all skills that are all within our reach now more than ever before.
I earn a part time income online and I'm loving every minute of it

At the moment i'm selling some stuff on Gumtree, Ebay, Amazon UK and Play.com. of course the income i generate from these sites are very minimal and you have to keep up with the rest of them i.e. your item price, being accurate with your item description, etc.
Louisesfreedom mentioned about making/starting my own blog. aside from the free website he mentioned is there anything else? and what shall i include in that blog?will everyone be able to se it? can i advertise my stuff there?0 -

Capital letters?
Seriously, I'm not trying to be mean but if you want to earn a living from writing you need to write properly.0 -

I don't see any other way to do this. Set up a blog and start reviewing and writing about things. If your work is good enough you will get noticed eventually.0
