PPI on mother's loan Please help.
I've gathered enough info to claim but there's one problem.
Basically my mother took out a loan of 10k and the interest was around 2k and the ppi was 4k.
The loan has been paid off but while she was paying off this loan at the time she suffered a stroke and was given advice by her friend that the bank will pay off her loan for one year.
But even after the year she had to pay it off herself with her benefits because she couldn't work anymore because her left arm was unfunctional for most jobs.
Now can she still claim because although they helped her out for a year, it wasn't enough and she didn't even know that ppi wasn't compulsory when she first asked for the loan. can they use this against her?

Hi
There is a section of the forum about PPI reclaiming here
Reclaim PPI & Other Insurance
I would have a read of the guides on there or re post your question on that section.
This guide http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
has this question/answer
I've claimed on my PPI, can I still make a mis-selling complaint?
You can still make a complaint for mis-selling, though your chances of winning redress are likely to be much lower.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
At the very least expect to have the amount paid under the claim knocked off any payout.0

Did you follow the link in Tixy's post? If so what are you struggling to find?
Doesn't seem to me to need much navigation, just follow the links that are appropriate to your situation.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0
