Can you Cancel a credit card or stop it from been used by yourself but just make payments on it

Yes. Phone to close the account and you will just need to keep paying the balance.0

I would cancel it (and cut it up).
Cutting it up stops you using it but it could potentially be used fraudlently.
Cancelling it should stop any new transactions.0 -
They wont actually close the account until the balance is clear.
Just cut it up and when the balance is zero, just ring them up to cancel it.
Or leave it open (still cut it up) I think sometimes it can help your credit rating, just make sure there isnt a dormancy fee.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Don't forget however that if you have a rolling balance then you'll be charged a monthly interest fee, unless you have a 0% card.0
