Feeling a bit thick today and was wondering if someone could help?
I have an item that I want to sell for 99p (no postage fees), my question is what will be the ebay and paypal fees total for selling this item?
i.e. of the 99p cost how much will I make after fees(ebay/paypal)
I know it's probably really easy to work out, but I think the missus slipped a 'thickie' pill in my breakfast this morning :-)

Depends what category you sell it in. Final Value Fees are significantly higher in categories such as CDs, DVDs, video games etc.For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also ...0

I get 43p too! If you want a gallery pic its 58p. Depends what the item is.0 -
15p insertion fee (typical amount, only 5p for books and CD's though) 5p final value fee, and 23p paypal = 43p
to post, all depends on size and weight of your item.0 -
43p combined costs on a 99p sale means that most of the sale price is swallowed up by eBay and PayPal before you see a penny. If the item cost more than 56p - well, you're out of pocket.
Be aware that the PayPal fee depends on the sale price + shipping & handling costs - unless the item is a download or delivered by email. There are a few decent online eBay + PayPal fee calculators that will help you figure your costs in advance so you can find the best way to recover them, and more importantly stay in profit!
