Last week I agreed to part exchange my house with a local builder,

In contract with Estate agents till next week had cash offer 130k no chain.

Said he was losing 1k in deal.
Am I being greedy, and thinking of taking cash offer and pulling out would lose half of reservation fee.

So this offer (pre survey) is £1k more than the builder has offered part exchange and you'd lose money on reservation fees and you are thinking of accepting it?

I think you're mad, sounds like the builder has done a good deal with you and everything is progressing nicely, why make life hard for yourself. What if the person withdraws their offer after you've told the builder where to go?

thanks its a buy to rent buyer, and they could try to knock it down again after survey.
How would it work if I accepted the offer for the builder for the sale of my house, but the sale of the new build didnt go through for some reason, could the cash buyer still by it from me direct
