Waitrose

All you have to do is solve our prize crossword in this week's issue of Waitrose Weekend, and the shaded squares will spell out the prize word, which has a picnic theme.
1. Sandwiches
2. Scotch eggs
3. Picnic rugs
4. Serviettes
Please thank barty1 below for providing the answer (super quickly too)

waitrose & both comp pages.

Apologies if I caused offense to anyone last week. I find it hard to believe that no matter what you type on MSE or how you type it there are people out there somewhere who will think you are being rude. This was definitely not the case. Perhaps in future people can start reading messages with a smile on their faces instead of automatically jumping to conclusions and assuming the worst. If you thought that last weeks' post was rude you obviously don't know me.

When ever i try to enter a waitrose comp i get this error msg
"This field can only contain alphanumerics with space in the middle" in the address field.

    any help?
Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing ;)
  • It's just asking you to write your postcode with a space in the middle - eg BN17 7NT

The postcode was fine, it's the first line address that's causing the trouble.

  • That's what I thought and drove myself mad re-typing the first line of address, but it was the post code in the end.Humour me - try it...sorry if I'm wrong!!

That's really kind of you to say, thank you. I guess the trouble is that we don't really know each other here. I admit that I was shocked at your comment. I did consider that you were probably/hopefully joking. But even so more people seemed to click thanks, than normal, so they must've felt somewhat intimidated to doing that - even though clearly we can all see now that you didn't mean it that way. So I also appologise for taking your comment the wrong way. hopefully next time I, for one, will know you better :)

And thank you loads for posting this and other great comps :T
