trucall call screening device

does anyone use a trucall device ? is it effective? ive just been sworn at yet again while telling someone in a foreign call centre to stop calling.
ive 2 options as i see it a trucall set up or a bloody loud whistle!!!

sister uses it, great it learns as it goes along, does not even ring you if it knows not too from previous calls.

The only negative is the cost...but for a lot of people its worth it. I'm seriously thinking about buying one myself after 6 withheld number calls yesterday afternoon and evening !!

Yep I got one in April after 50 cold calls on the trot. It stopped them all dead! Until you do get one, why not sign the cold calling petition?

we generally get about 6 a week but yesterday i got one and as i was trying to say to the non english person no to call we arent interested all he kept shouting was f*** you,f*** you f*** off !!. .
ive decided the cost is worth it the reviews are good so i will take the plunge.

would any laws over here stop oversea call centres ?

Absolutely not, but then SOGA and DSR don't apply to overseas vendors either. At least we can choose to ignore international calls, and hopefully let the legislators take care of the UK ones!

PS, I understand here may be an EU wide ban possible too.....
