Aldi multi-tool

Just after advice as to whether or not these are any good. They look very similar to he expensive Bosch ones (even using the same battery). I don't use one enough to spend on the Bosch, but if they are any good, then at the price they are, one could end-up in my tool cupboard.

May not be any left in stock now though as it was a few weeks ago

But remember it is a cordless, so less powerful than a corded, but potentially more versatile

Good value, and useful though for infrequent use

For the money they are charging, even of you only use it half a dozen times, you will have had your monies worth. I have a B & Q own brand one. I don't use it often but when I do, it's a god send!

I got the Aldi mains -powered one last years. It sat in its box for nearly six months, then had a flurry of activity for which it was absolutely invaluable.
I find the price of replacement blades is a bit high, but there are some sellers on ebay which are ok.

My brother has the Bosch mains variety and it is a pretty versatile tool for loads of stuff.

My only reservation with battery operated tools that aren't used continually/regularly is that battery life seems to shorten quite quickly IME.

Spotted this one, not battery, in Tesco don't know how it would compare.

If its the lower powered Bosch (180e) folks are looking at, they appear on Amazon for ~£37.50 on occasion.
The heavier Bosch is a bit more expensive though....http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-Professional-Multicutter-Carton-240V/dp/B0054ITD1K

Yep camelizer shows it (180e) down to £42 earlier this year and regularly down to £50.
