Santander esaver

Can i pay money from HSBC into my Santander esaver account, instead of "pulling it in"? I've got my account number, but no sort code.
Thanks

Yes you can 'send' funds to your Santander eSaver.
Contact them and ask what your sort code is.
  • If you have an online Santander A/c, when you log on to your account, your sort code is shown preceding your account number, i.e. 09-01-28 12345678.

I've got an ISA with Santander, and the sort code is shown as you have pointed out. But with the esaver account, shown on the same page as the ISA, only the account number is shown with three letters after it. Some banks have different sort codes for different accounts and that's why i wanted to make sure before transferring money in there. Their help page only makes reference to "pulling money in" and not instigating a transfer from another institution.
    Cheers

I have an ISA, eSaver and current account with them and the sort code precedes all three of my account numbers (all the sort codes are different by the way). When you view your account, i.e. 'View transactions' from the dropdown list, when the view page opens the sort code and account number are shown on the dropdown list of accounts near the top. Failing that, what about the letter they sent you when you opened the account, my letter shows the sort code as well as the account number.

If none of the above you will have to contact them as stated by evenasus.

    Same for me.

Buy It Now - Another way you could try is -
When you are signed into online banking, at the top select the 2nd tab 'Payments & Transfers' then on the Pay or view an existing payee page see if the sort code is listed there with your eSaver account number in the drop down menu (it does for me when I just tried it).

    Or if in doubt give Santander a call - 0800 7317 774
