    well bear in mind that they didn't have access to this months figures then unlike previous meetings so they would have only saw the effect of the rates reducing from 3.0% to 2.7% the fact that such a drop didn't maintian and the rates actually gone up again could be a major factor to change their decision

    Im not sure anyone can be certain - My thoughts are that it will stay the same.

    The BOE would have known inflation was going to be slightly up on last month but not enough to be worried - BOE knows that the wage increases were not as much as they thought and that gas/oil and electricity is coming down.

    I also think that inflation will start to come down during april/may/jun so if there isnt a rise this month I doubt there will be anymore this year at all.

    Dont forget 1 person voted to drop rates although I know this is unlikely to happen it does suggest that we wont see movement for a while.
