How to get a next account onto a 0% card?

I have a credit card with little room left and I am looking to transfer to a 0% card. My wife has a Next account for which she is paying some ridiculous interest. I need to transfer my credit card and the next account to a 0% card. Any ideas? Ta

The only way I know of transferring the balance from a next card is to use the card to pay it off as a purchase. Do you have a special offer for purchases on your card?
  • I've had this card a little while so no current offers on it. Also I am near the limit for the card as I opted to have a low limit when I took it out as a way of not over spending on it. They will increase the limit but want bank statements etc as proof of affordability.

Get a card such as the RBS/NatWest Yourpoints World Mastercard, with a long 0% period on both purchases and balance transfers.

You then BT the credit card as normal, and use the Natwest card to pay the next account, it'll appear as a purchase guaranteed, I do it monthly (buy something at Next to get the interest free month there, then pay it by CC to get another month interest free and reward points!)

You can pay via a credit card through Next online servicing. The transaction will show as a purchase.
