Question about 0% period for purchases on new credit card

I have had a 0% card in the past which offered 0% for 12 months but only for purchases made in the first 3 months. I notice that the current cards such as the Natwest one state
"0% interest for 18 months on purchases from account opening."


Does this mean that anything that I buy throughout the 18 month period will be 0%? Obviously I know that I will need to pay the minimum repayments each month.



Also I have just cancelled my previous 0% card, should I wait for a while before applying for a new one (from a different company) or does it not matter if I do so right away?

just read the terms carefully. Offers are usually (but not always) limited to purchases or transfer made in 60 or 90 days of account opening.

If it doesn't say so - then the offer lasts for 18 months.

Yes - all purchases throughout the 18months will be interest free, as you say, as long as you pay the minimum payment
