I noticed that weddings and wedding anniversaries has it's own thread now, moved from familes, relationships ...
I wanted to suggest that the title is not inclusive and should also mention civil partnerships, I don't believe there would be enough call to make CPs a thread all of it's own but the principle of wanting to register, plan or celebrate a partnership doesn't apply to only hetrosexuals.

When my aunties-in-law (bit tenuous I know!) got married last year it was known as a wedding to everyone concerned - CP is just the legal term for it whereas everyone else calls is a wedding don't they?!0 -
