Credit Card/Balance Transfer

Hi all

Ive got a Credit card, Barclaycard, have had for years, its near as damn it maxed out (Approx £2400) im wondering if it is possible to create a balance transfer onto a new card, the only problem is that....My credit rating is shot and is currently very poor :(

The reason i want to do this is the interest on the card is killing me at the moment!!!!

Any help or advice would be appreciated

Cheers
Jimbob

If your credit rating is poor, then youre unlikely to qualify for a card with a decent BT.

Best approach may be to cut backany non essential spending and throw any spare money to the card as fast as you can.

with a poor credit rating then a 0% BT card is unlikely

    why is it poor?
    what's your income?

but anyway it's best to concentrate paying off the CC debt

try going over to the debt free wannabe board - lots of support and advice there.

Hi mate yea i have been reading that, some good help for sure, ive got a debt reduction scheme in place which hopefully will sort me out sooner rather than later. Just looking at some ways to reduce the outgoings (ie the Interest i pay)

Being honest i didnt think there was much of a prayer, but hey-ho, we shall persevere and get the CC debt down as much as i can!

    Cheers
