99% of all the furniture at these sort of prices will be veneer of some kind.
some are real veneer (few) and some (most) are the plastic photographic type veneer.
    Get some gorm.

  • We've just bought our first house and have ordered our bedroom furniture from this website

    http://www.pinesolutions.co.uk/

We also ordered a bookcase and sideboard for the lounge. It was all hand made and shipped from China, so delivery took 5-6 weeks and unfortunately, some of the shelves were chipped. They've been great - very helpful and they're sending an entire replacement; due to arrive next Thursday.

I don't know if they'll have anything you like, or whether the price range is any good for you?

I've recently bought a stained oak dining table, chairs and sideboard from Surplus Stock http://www.surplusstockforsale.com/

They also have a store on ebay to give you an idea of prices. http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/surplusstockforsale

Fantastic value for money and very good quality furniture. Very friendly people to deal with too - ask for Emma.

Bindiboo, I have just furnished my thru lounge with solid oak furniture from Ebay, brand new, but from a company that sells hundreds in a week.
I purchased 4 peices, and the four peices cost less than two I would have got from a shop.

Its european oak, and its absolutly beautiful, well made, no chips, scratches etc,I was impressed with the actual packaging and the waiting time.
Admittidly I bidded for 2, but put in a best offer for the other two.

I wish I knew how to get pics from my digital camera onto here, and you could see the quality.

We have trawled shops and stores, and the prices were ridiculous, and some of it was chinese oak, which we didnt want, but the stores mainly had the european oak like we got, and the price comparisan was unbelievable.

I did my homework for approx 6 months before I bought from Ebay, I even googled lots of stores to get an idea of the standard and the price, and this company beats anyone hands down.:D

Hi, do you have a link to the Ebay store you bought from?
