Not strictly redundancy but someone advised me to try posting on this forum rather than the work one.
I have been in the same post, with same employer, for 14 years. It is public sector but is not unionised. The organisation is now going through a period of reviewing everyone's pay structures and today our team found out our new terms will be increased hours (37.5 instead of 35), sick pay conditions cut, and I will have a 33% cut in my salary.
Are there any employment rules or anything that I can do about such a large pay cut? I will still be doing the exact same job with same job title etc. the employer says the market has changed and our type of job is now being paid at a lower rate due to having to compete to win contracts from the local authority.

if working on specific contracts they should be looking to see if TUPE applies
Don't agree to the changes, as a group get legal advice
this should be a redundancy situation with such a big cut equivilent to 37.5% cut0 -
