I have recently bought an arbutus and i cannot wait to see it grow...it seems like it could be the perfect screening tree for many a spot where a conifer has been shoved in instead.
I had to google Katsura (I want one) then text my next door neighbour he's a tree nerd too and has planted quite a few trees in our council owned communal garden.I'm not that way reclined
Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0 -
Probably not so different from the ones I cut down, although that had been pruned to 6 or 7 feet high. The largest trunk was 6 to 8 inches across.
It is not unknown for labels to be wrong. My blue hyssop grew white flowers.
Anal as it may seem, I've just been out in the dark to measure the stump of the smaller 1, the bigger 1 was removed. It measures 10" x 9", unfortunately the growth rings have darkened and I can't read them. The other 1 was a good 1 to 2" bigger in trunk and was a buugger to remover,;)
Some of my best nursery bargains have been "lost label" stuff.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

Yep, every one should have one, they are magical imo.
Today our not so small garden ( thank goodness) received delievery of our new indian bean tree and a foxglove tree ( i have seen indian bean trees in timy london gardens, but to do that might need root restriction and certainly needs serious growth checking....but there is one small indian bean tree in a hankercheif front garden in knightsbridge that i always detour to see its so lovely.
My foxglove tree is gloriously beautiful, i am so excited. I hope it will be happy here!
They also have a pink pseudo acaxia and a ginko already here and now we are concentrating on non decisuous tree purchases for that part of the place. I love trees.:)0 -
