Natwest credit card ppi-delaying tactics?

Ten days ago I posted my ppi claim to natwest, having completed the ppi consumer questionnaire as their website requests. Today I received a letter telling me they can't proceed with my claim as they need a full credit card number to help them locate my ppi info.I gave the number and the date it was started on the form. Instead they suggested I get hold of a SAR which will give them the details they need. I'm a little confused as the de tails they ask for seem to have been supplied by me already.I'll get a SAR anyway but it seems to me as if Natwest are simply delaying my claim...or have I missed something? Any advice gratefully received.

Before you rush off to get a SAR you may not need, write back to the Bank and say you've already provided the number of the credit card!

Be certain the details you have provided are correct, though!
  • Thanks for the advice, I'll do that. Seems very odd that all the info was on the questionnaire but they still can't seem to locate it. Oh well...
