Hey All,
Wondered if you clever lot could help incase I'm missing something.
I'm going up to Cardiff to watch the football from London (long story, but good seats, enough for the family and team GB date).
We were going to drive and camp but it's unlikely to happen now so we are wondering if there is a way back to London after the football.
We can get a megabus up there for £5, but the return train ticket is £39! Ouch. That's the same price as the ticket to the football!
Can anyone think of another way around it? The megabuses/national express don't run that late. I could stay but obviously that will become expensive...
Any help is much appreciated

There is a section on the london 2012 site all about travel and it includes train travel. I'm guessing you're going the same day as me (28th July)... In which the train was horribly expensive. It ended up cheaper and more convenient for us to stay over in the travelodge. I would guess that would be V pricey now as well..... Have a look at the london 2012 site travel section, they might have park and ride available. Not sure what else to suggest, sorry!1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100
