Cat scarer
Just wonder whether anybody has used a cat scarer with illumintated eyes to scare cat off fouling the lawn. Getting really fed up, the cat is determined to foul my lawn, I do not mind if it is on the flower bed but it does it on the lawn where I put my washing to dry. I have tried almost everything I could think of and it is very persistent. The sonic does not work and it is heavy on batteries as it is activated by the wind. Thanks

Mains powered ones are good but expensive, this battery powered one should give the little darling the right idea though0 -

I've tried EVERYTHING and the only thing that's ever worked is the Catwatch electronic device I now have (bought for £50 from RSPB - my eyes watered at the cost, but I wasted loads of money on "cheaper" options which didn'rt work). Our garden was being "used" by 3 different cats, but haven't seen any of them since. It's BRILLIANT (haven't seen it switching on and off when it's been very windy).
Don't forget - if the cat is fouling in the same place, you'll need to get rid of the smell. My Mum had a similar problem and she was advised by a neighbour to use Jeyes fluid on it - which definitely deterred the cat! (not good for the grass though .... but you could then replace that bit of turf when the problem is solved).
Good luck. (In my humble opinion, ALL cats should be House Cats - think of the problems that would just disappear ... )0 -
Thanks, how long does the battery last, I have got a sonic but a cheaper version. I am desperate and as a last resort will buy the catwatch.0
