Natwest platinum offer

So I have the platinum CC already and they have the current offer of BT's at 0% interest for 22 months - I want that! But how do I go about getting it as an existing customer, and what are the chances of me getting it? This is my first time haggling for rates on an existing credit card so any advice is welcome - thanks.

P.S. I should point out there's no debt on the card at the moment.

So I tried this and they had to "check their system" and no I couldn't get it so I was told, "I should call again next month."

Is it worth closing the credit card down and then reopening it?

Or if anyone has any tips on haggling on the phone, calling and asking simply didn't work.

start using the card for month to month costs (i.e. paying off in full).. Usually find with mbna that it gets the BT offers flooding through..

Think its ploy to get people to transfers as well as have a purchase balance so that they then start getting interest charged on the purchases (Not that I ever mix the use of the cards - one for purchases and separate for BT's to avoid such a risk)..
