Flying from Heathrow-where to stay the night before

Title says it all really. Need to be at Terminal 3 for approx 8 am (maybe a bit later, we fly at 11 and seats are booked)

Dont know whether to stay in an "airport hotel" (albeit i realise they are a mile or two away with a shuttle) or in central london. We'll be passing through Kings Cross on train from home to London so can go anywhere from there....

Do a 'Name Your Own Price' bid for a Heathrow Airport hotel on Priceline. I've done this several times in the past and got the 4* Sheraton Skyline for approx £40. Alternatively, see HolidayExtras or Essential Travel for their "Free if it's cheaper" guarantee - you may be able to stay for nothing!

PM me with your dates and I'll have a look if you want.

    Priceline guide

    Essential Travel guarantee

I only got parking for free-didn't realise they also did Hotels

IMHO I'd stay at LHR using PL-Unless there are more than 2 adults.

I booked a mystery hotel through Expedia for £43 a few weeks before I was flying from Heathrow recently. Got Crowne Plaza, which is pretty swanky and had swimming pool and spa at no additional cost.
