Hi there,
Does anyone know for sure if the BOS take the tax of any settlement before they send out the cheque?
I have contacted them and they have told me to contact the tax office, who in turn have told me to contact the bank?
Nobody knows, hopefully someone here does?

They didn't when I received my cheque so I would assume this is the norm. You'll need to contact HMRC and pay the tax on the 8% interest0

How did you find out they hadn't paid the tax. They couldn't tell me which I thought was strange?0
