Hi Listers
We have recently had 4 Double Glazed windows installed from a local company, they had advertised an offer in the local paper(which i have thrown away) for 4 A rated energy windows for £1995. we have now had the FENSA certificate through, and it states energy rating is C. What can i now do about it,the invoice/plan I have gives quotation but does not mention energy rating just says: " 4 windows as per advertisement £1995.
there is lots of writing inside window frame but do not know what they all mean, there is nothing I can see which relates to energy rating, unless I am being stupid. There is a BSEN no. and a Kitemark no. The date the window was made and some other numbers.
